Martin Luther King Jr. (1929-1968) was one of the main activist for the African American Civil Rights movement. He is best known for "I Have a Dream" speech that portrays a color blind society. King not only received the Nobel Peace Prize, but also the Presidential Medal of Freedom and the Congressional Gold Medal.
